Last night was Tuesday, November 26th. On National TV here in the United States, they aired Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer – yes, the classic stop-motion special. I think I read somewhere that this year would be the 40th or so anniversary of the stop-motion classic.

But…

THEY AIRED IT TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS THANKSGIVING!!!
(Thanks to James Rowe for pointing out my little boo-boo)

Bill O’Reilly has it all wrong and has gotten it all wrong. There’s no “war on Christmas” here in the United States. If anything, there is a “war on Thanksgiving”!

Airing Rudolph before December 1st…
Christmas commercials airing as early as October… OCTOBER, people…
Many businesses being opened nearly ALL DAY on THANKSGIVING DAY…
Being inundated with more “Black Friday” commercials than political ads in an election year…

Oh no… there is DEFINITELY a “War on Thanksgiving”.

I, for one, am NOT thankful for that.

And it looks like Roy agrees with me on this one.
