Today’s illustration comes courtesy of Trace who commissioned me for a Rogue and Gambit piece. I thought it was funny enough that I would run it for today’s strip as I was a bit busy today doing other stuff besides sitting at home chained to a drawing table. Other things like…

Spending the day participating in a Little League Challenger’s tournament. Well, sort of.

“Tournament” is really a bad word here as that implies there were “winners” and there were “losers” but when it comes to Challenger’s baseball, ther simply are NO winners or losers. If anything, one might say it’s the volunteers that might really be the big winners after they get a chance to watch and help all the Challengers do what so many of us might take for granted… running, throwing and hitting a baseball.

Next weekend will be the Little League Challenger’s Jamboree/World Series held in Virginia Beach each year. My family will be going so I am making this announcement early:

An Open Call for Guest Strips…

I don’t make this point loud enough as I should but I am ALWAYS open to accepting Guest Strips for people who want to try their hand at either writing or drawing Roy and all the rest of the gang of Capes & Babes. So, even though the Challenger’s Jamboree is only a weekend (I’ll be back to work on Monday), we don’t usually get home until real late Sunday night. Therefore, I have no idea what my strip schedule will be.

If anyone wants to send me some guest strips, you are free to do so. Just send the to capesnbabes [at] gmail.com before Friday this week – I know… not a whole lot of time. You can send them to me later than that but I won’t be able to post them until I get back from the Jamboree but will do my best!
