Folks, don’t read too much in to this current story line. This current storyline is just a very small seed that will grow in to a much bigger tree in terms of the Capes & Babes universe. Stick around and you’ll discover who the vampire is that vaguely resembles Freddie Mercury and what his connection is to one of the other Capes & Babes characters.

In other exciting news…

I have been a bit remiss in letting you all know that this coming weekend – February 17-19th – I will be at Katsucon as one of the many featured webcomic creators. I will be posting my panel schedule up here if anyone is interested in attending. I am excited about this as this is a show I had hoped to table at for quite some time and now it’s finally happening.

I have a lot to do this week and will update this blog and my Facebook wall as I get ready for the show.

I also got a brand new phone this weekend as well. My wife and I upgraded both of our phones and I’m excited about all the cool and neat things I’ll be able to do better than I was with my previous phone. In case anyone was interested, it’s unfortunately NOT an iPhone. We’re a T-Mobile family so when the T-Mobile/AT&T merger didn’t happen, that shot down any chance for an iPhone.

I don’t have the box in front of me but the phone is a 4G Samsung model. So far, it’s running super slick and, best of all, I’ll be able to use my Squar Credit Card app to accept credit cards at shows again without having to use my iPad. So it’ll be a great test for Katsucon.

On Sunday, I also spent the day at one of my favorite, local one-day shows… Capicon. I had a great time there and did a couple of commissions and two caricature sketch cards – which seem to be increasing in popularity with every passing show.

I’ll post pictures of my commissions later on Monday evening.
