Ivy Jeans…
A few weeks ago, when I attended Heroes Con, I was offering to do convention sketches. The first person to ask me for one was Tom Anders. He requested a Poison Ivy. But you see, I’m a long time caricature artist and sometimes doing caricatures at parks or parties is all about SPEED and I sort of fell into the trap of going back to “caricature mode”. I thought I did an “okay” Poison Ivy for Tom but I always thought I could do a better one.
And so, the idea for this strip stuck in my head for a while so I decided to go ahead and do it again. But once I did it in black and white, I almost immediately realized Poison needed to be in glorious color.
So, there you go folks. Another rare colored strip for Capes & Babes!
