I mentioned in Twitterland and on Facebook that I was working on a few commissions. One is Mimic. I can’t show that one but I can show you the inks to the Inigo Montoya commission I started. The example will looks quite different since I will be coloring this guy with Prismacolor Markers. Here is Montoya. Click on the image to see a larger, more detailed version:

LIGHTBOX PODCAST TONIGHT

In tonight’s recording, I recapped my experiences at the Baltimore Comic Con, we talked about InterventionCon and we reviewed Gabriel Dunston’s comic called “The Pit of Disaster” . It’s really worth checking out. During the podcast, I mentioned I thought Gabe’s art style reminded me of Space Invader Zim and possibly Aeon Flux but now that I think about it, Gabe’s style is probably more similar to Get Fuzzy… just something I see in the facial expressions and angular -like line work.

But go check out his work and see for yourself.

Lightbox Podcast – LIVE at InterventionCon

And speaking of InterventionCon and the Lightbox, I will be holding a panel on Saturday night at 9:00pm that’s completely devoted to the Lightbox Podcast. So, if you have any question or just want to listen to how Matt Stoutt and I do the show, this is the panel to attend. Unfortunately, I will be a solo act as Matt can’t make it to Intervention this year.

And I think that’s about it for tonight, folks.
