Okay, well, I’m still alive. Still looking for a job but still alive.
The ThinkGeek rejection was pretty tough to take mainly because I thought I was so ideal for that position. The humor was there. The sensibilities were there. I knew the skills they were looking for. But alas, for whatever reason, they just didn’t my particular style or design skills matched what they were looking for.
That’s the toughest part about this whole thing. Trying to figure out (or hope) YOUR vision matches someone else’s vision.
Of course, had Capes & Babes been in the PvP range of popularity, I’m sure there wouldn’t have been any problem with the samples I sent to them. But hey… that’s the way the cookie crumbles, I guess…
The journey continues.
