UPDATED POST:
Okay, so I thought I’d add a little bit of information about “Blue Moon”…
“Blue Moon” was a doo-wop #1 hit in the US and UK by The Marcels back in 1961. If you want to know more interesting facts about “Blue Moon”, you can go to the Song Facts website or, if you like the song, it IS available on iTunes. Just do a search for “Blue Moon” and The Marcels.

I personally discovered it in high school when a freind of mine was really obsessed with music from that era. He loved stuff like The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly and SOOOO many others. That was really where I discovered my appreciation for Buddy Holly.

But “Blue Moon” was always one of my favorite little songs. I know it was in the movie “Grease” but I could have sworn it was also on the soundtrack to “American werewolf in London”. Does anyone remember iof that was the case or not? It seems fitting that it would be in there… sort of like “Don’t let the sun go down on me” being on the “Lost Boys” soundtrack years later.

Anyway… as soon as I had read about the “Blue Moon” making an appearance on Thursday night, this song immediately sprung to mind. It was only as I was drawing the strip that I got the idea to draw Roy wearing a Pompadour wig – which really cracks me up. My apologies to those that got this song stuck in their heads after reading the strip – it seems that this is fast becoming my little calling card. LOL!

Happy New Year, everyone!

Sorry about the late post ya’ll but if you follow me on Twitter, you know one of the main reasons for the delay is that I spent much of yesterday working on the final touches for the Capes & Babes re-design – at least from the mock-up anyway. It has a long way to go before it hits the PhP/ComicPress/WordPress stage.

But at least you get all weekend to read this strip!
