Hey everybody… I think ONE of the many reasons why Content Management Systems have become so popular amongst webcomic creators is due to its ability to allow a creator to post a strip and a blog in advance without having to worry about it. This is especially true for any creator that is on the road or traveling to, say, a comic convention.

And that’s exactly what I’m doing right now!

Today is Thursday and this afternoon, I will be leaving the (suddenly windy) confines of Northern Virginia and driving to Monroeville, Pennsylvania in order to participate in my second Pittsburgh Comic Con. And, as the bottom of the strip says… if you plan on visiting or attending the Pittsburgh Comic Con any time this weekend, and you stop by my booth and mention Friday’s strip to me (whether it’s Friday, Saturday or Sunday), you’ll get a FREE GIFT! How cool is that???

This year, I decided to take a chance and upgrade myself from “Artist Alley” to the “Small Press” section of the show so, as always, look for my five foot tall, foam core stand-up of Roy the Werewolf. You find him, you’ll find me. I look forward to seeing and talking to a lot of people this weekend. My first Pittsburgh Comic Con back in the fall was an absolute blast so I’m hoping this weekend’s Spring show is even better!

I will be rooming with my good friend, Dan Nokes so you should take a moment and check out some of his stuff.

Also, on a bit of a sad note, because I will (hopefully) be in Pittsburgh by this evening, there will NOT be a Lightbox – Illuminating Webcomics podcast this week – unless Matt is able to round up a guest host for me. But we’ll be back next week where I’m sure I’ll talk more about the con then.

Thanks to my relatively new Google MyPhone, I’ll also try Twittering a bunch during the con whenever I get a chance. if you’re not doing so already, you can follow me on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/capesnbabes.

Anyway, that’s just about all I have for today.
