So… how many of you all caught that little “mistake” on Monday? Truth is, the strip is a bit of a lie… there were at least TWO souls (you know who you are) who contacted me privately and knew right away what was odd about Monday’s strip.

But again, that was not a mistake. When I was inking Monday’s strip – specifically that first panel – I had this weird thought that I wonder how many people would notice if I didn’t ink Marc’s goatee in? And then – since this was a dream sequence – I came up with the idea for today’s strip. But I had to create a buffer strip in between just so there could be no doubt that Roy was, indeed, having a very Crazy-Weird dream.
