SPX – The Small Press Expo…

Yes folks, that’s where I will be this Saturday and Sunday – my second convention in two weeks. I will be sharing a table with Krishna Sadasivam (of PC Weenies) and my fellow Webcomic Alliancer, Dawn Griffin (or Zorphbert and Fred).

This will be my first time ever selling anything at the SPX. Years ago, it used to be one of my favorite shows to attend in the Washington, DC area. Okay… let’s be honest… it used to be THE ONLY comic book show to attend in the Washington, DC area – small press or not.

I even worked as a volunteer at SPX one year!

I also would occasionally would find some terrific gems and discover artists and creators I had never heard of before. It’s at SPX that I first met Tom Beland (True Story – Sweat to God!), J. Torres and his Copybook Tales book, Mike Norton and, believe it or not, Frank Miller. Frank was trying to drum up donations for The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund at the time.

So here’s hoping you all come out to the show. You can find all the information by visiting the SPX website or clicking the image above. I hope to see you all this weekend in Sliver Spring, Maryland!

My Baltimore Comic Con Recap

I will be posting my recap of the Baltimore Comic Con tomorrow evening over at the Webcomic Alliance. As soon as it is up, I will let everyone know. I’m still in the process of sorting through and formatting over 100 photos I took during the weekend so it has taken me a little more time than I anticipated.

Thanks for being patient everyone!
