So yesterday I was in Richmond, Virginia for my first convention show of 2012. The organizers said that, in terms of attendance, it was the most they ever had for a one day show. Being that the price of admission was free also might have had something to do with the fact that people were willing to brave the cold Virginia weather and come to a comic book show on a NFL playoff Sunday. That’s saying a lot.

In two weeks, I will be in Waldorf, Maryland for another one day show – so I hope everyone comes out to that as well.

In any case, here are some of the artwork I did yesterday… I did another caricature sketch card of a girl who wanted to be Ms. Marvel but I forgot to take a picture of that before giving her the card. The little guy off to the far right… his mom wanted me to draw him as Red Mist – an odd choice given how young the little guy was. But both, the parents and the little guy were quite pleased with the card.

The last commission of the day turned out to be the first one on e the left… the Patric and Spongebob Cobra. I liked this one so much, I might turn it in to my next promotional postcard.

Anyway. that’s what I did all day yesterday. I’ll have some more pictures posted either here or on my Facebook and Google wall. I’ll let you all know when those are up.
