vacomicon.comI wanted to mention that this coming Sunday – January 15th – I will be in Richmond, Virginia attending my first show of the year. If you would like to know more information, you can click the VA Comic Con logo on the left of you can go directly to their site at www.vacomicon.com to find out more information.

If you ARE planning on attending the show, and you’ve always been interested in getting a commission from me, then you should take advantage of my pre-con commission rate! Here’s how it works:

E-mail me the character you want me to draw and I will send you a Paypal money request for $20. If you’re quick with your character request, I can have it done for you by the time you come to the show in Sunday as long as you pay me the money in advance. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay me an extra $10 at the show as my “at show” commission prices this year will be $30. So take advantage of that $10 savings TODAY!

And now for one more thing…

I am very excited to announce my involvement in the Comic Creators for Freedom project this year. This was a project I learned about way too late to participate in last year but when the opportunity arose this year, I jumped at it. If you want to know more information about this fantastic cause, go to my home page and scroll down to the next blog post after this one and you can read all about this cause and why it is so important.

For my part, I have chose Joey to be the lone Capes & Babes participate in the project. I haven’t seen the full poster yet. It was still being worked on over the weekend but as soon as I do see it, I will post the Joey artwork here so you all will see her by herself. I can’t wait to see the whole thing and be a part of a project featuring so many other great artists. I’m honored and humbled at the same time.
