There really is such a thing called a “Khan Con” – do a Google search and you’ll find it.

At first, this story line was going to be all about Khan Con – until I found out it actually existed. The whole point of this story arc was supposed to be how ridiculous it would be to have a convention completely dedicated to Khan (from Star Trek for all of you that have been living in a cave or under a rock somewhere). But if it actually exists, it really wouldn’t be a joke.

But somewhere between realizing the joke wouldn’t work, the “idea light bulb” went off in my head… what would be even more ridiculous than a convention dedicated to Khan? Well, a convention dedicated to Scott Caan. Hence the birth of the Caan Con.

I’ll be at AnimeUSA this upcoming weekend…
