As many of you know, I play in a men’s baseball league (DC MSBL) during the summer months. Sometimes, with conventions and working on the comic strip, it can be quite hectic trying to juggle playing baseball AND doing all the things I need to do for Capes & Babes. For the most part though, through the last couple of summers, I have managed to be able to juggle both activities. But on very rare occasions, a ball will accidentally be dropped.

Such was the case on Monday.

Last week, I simply over-did myself with regards to baseball. With two games on Sunday, a game on Wednesday, another on Thursday and two more this past Sunday (in 98 degree weather no less), I simply ran out of gas (and energy) Hence, no strip on Monday. Hopefully the color in today’s strip makes up for that. I am also hoping that if all goes well, I will still try to finish the week with three strips posted by Friday – but we will see.

Webcomic Mafia Appearance – Part Two

Over the weekend, Tony D. also sent me an e-mail letting me know that the second part of my guest appearance in the Webcomic Mafia strip is now up. I’m really excited about both appearances I made in his strip. I especially LOOOOOOVE the Roy cane I’m holding. I would seriously love top have one of THOSE! Now c’mon… admit it. You would like one too, wouldn’t you?

Here’s a preview of the second panel of my second appearance:
