That little box in the first panel is a shout-out to Stylin’ T-shirts. If you’ve ever been to Heroes, Pittsburgh or the Baltimore Comic Con, you know Stylin’ T-shirts. They always have some terrific designs of just about every property you can imagine… DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse, Thundercats, Transformers, Hellboy… the list goes on and on.

But speaking of t-shirts, if I had my way and could convince either Stylin’ or someone at Marvel to create a kick-ass Captain America t-shirt, this is how it would look:

On the front would be Captain America’s traditional red, white and blue costume with the white star on the chest but at each shoulder/arm pit area would be a silk-screened leather strap. The back of the shirt would be a 3-d rendered view of Cap’s shield. For long time Cap readers, we remember that this was sometimes how he carried his shield in the comics. He wore it like a back pack.

Now THAT is what I would call a Stylin’ T-shirt design. Don’t you agree?
