What’s this line for???

What’s this line for???

So, some of you that met and talked with me at Heroes Con MIGHT recognize a few people in this line. You might even recognize the guy at the beginning of the panel (especially if you bought the Capes & Babes book). LOL!

But I should mention that this strip is entirely inspired by my driving buddy who was gracious enough to let me carpool down to North Carolina with him… my main man, Ed. And since this strip was Ed’s idea, how could I NOT include him in the strip in his infamous Wonder Woman gear? Yes, that’s him talking to Roy.

Not everyone is entirely based on people that I met at Heroes Con. A couple of the guys are completely made up but for the rest, there are very distinctive visual clues as to who they are. I’ll let you guys try to figure it out. Of course, it might be more clear once I post my videos from Heroes Con.

Job update:
On Monday and Tuesday, I am going in for “testing” for the BOSS Group in Bethesda, Maryland. The BOSS Group is a temp agency for graphic designers so we’ll see how that goes.

Steve Trevor’s personal hell…

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
BIG UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT!
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Saturday, May 2nd is Free Comic Book Day. As such, I will be appearing at Little Fish Comics in Fredericksburg, Virginia. My Godson has his confirmation earlier that morning so I’m shooting to be in the store at around 2:00pm until they kick me out of the store. I will be doing commissions, trading cards and anything else you might want me to draw. I will also be selling the first four mini-comics of Capes & Babes. Here is the address to Little Fish Comics:

9961 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22407
Phone: 540 710-6170

As for the comic..
Well, wouldn’t it be YOUR personal hell too if you lived with, not only a nag but a SUPER POWERED NAG???

:-)

ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Today’s term is “Hierarchy” and I thought I’d justify my entry for today as being the Hierarchy in a relationship or marriage. Hope you guys think that today’s Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor cartoon depicts the exact kind of relationship hierarchy I imagine Steve would have with Diane.

:-)

VIRGINIA COMIC CON
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

This one was a while back but I wanted to post some pictures of people who bought some mini-comics from me or commissioned me for a sketch. Here are their pictures:

Steppenwolf mini-comic

All four mini comics

Avengers commission

I have to apologize to those of you that were at the Roanoke Valley Comic Con last Saturday. I wanted to post your pictures too but when I took a look at them, they were all very blurry. That is usually a sign that the disc in the camera was too bloated. Sorry about that.
