Capes-n-Babes

Hey folks…

My apologies on the lateness of this strip. It was a combination of enjoying my Thanksgiving holiday and trying to get ahead on a sudden rush of commissions I have to try and get done before Christmas.

In fact, my next couple of weeks are going to be very hectic with those commissions so I might as well let you guys know something I have have been thinking about for a while. Actually, this idea occurred through an idea I had suggested over at the Webcomic Alliance site and really, the more I thought about it, the more the idea appealed to me.

Over the past year, there has been a large influx of new readers to Capes & Babes and that’s a good thing. But, with over 800 strips in my archives, that can be quite a daunting thing for new readers – especially if none of them have bought any of the three book collections I have. Added to that, traffic to Capes & Babes almost always takes a huge dip in the month of December and especially during the December holidays.

So, here is my BIG IDEA…

For the month of December, I am going to re0run some of my favorite Capes & Babes strips. Daily! Yup, that’s right… for the month of December, you will get Capes & Babes five times a week! I’m also hoping that a couple of things might happen with this…

1) It will give new readers a chance to read some of the older Capes & babes strips and get more familiar with some of the characters

2) It will give me a little bit of a much needed break (even though it looks like I will be busy with commissions during that time)

3) But it also will allow me some time to create a bit of a much needed buffer for the strip as well.

I already have some ideas for strips starting in January so stick around… I think the ride is only going to get better!
