For the last few weeks, I have been making a regular habit of going to a really great gym at least four times a week during my lunch break. My lunch work out consists of a 30-45 minute combo of weight lifting and stationary biking. I only have 40 minutes tops so I need to be as efficient as possible but the one thing that has consistently been disrupting this tight schedule is the fact that weightlifters in the gym sometimes refuse – or forget – to bide by the rules like the rest of us… by leaving weights on the bench press. This gives the impression that someone is still using that particular bench press or, sometimes, multiple bench presses.

And, like Marc, I tend to be very reluctant to speak up and see if anyone is still using those benches. I’m not sure why.

Fortunately though, I don’t have the patience like Marc does and, after a few short minutes, I’ll get frustrated and modify my workout without the bench presses.

The moral of this story, kiddies, is this:

When you’re done with the weights, RE-RACK THEM!

Now… that wasn’t so difficult, now was it?
