As I have said many times before, although Capes & Babes is not an “autobiographical” strip, a lot of the “inspiration” I get for the strip is derived from real life events. Those real life events are absorbed in to my brain, whereby creativity, a sense of fun and a whole lot of wackiness mixes everything up together and, somewhere along the way, my consciousness spits out a story line that may (or may not) have a small semblance of “truth” in it.
In many ways, that is the case with the current story line right now. When I was at Heroes Con this year, there really was a place that was advertising a female super hero sex show. I have the promotional postcard to prove it. Now, I didn’t go to the show but I couldn’t resist picking up that postcard because I knew it would probably turn in to a great source of story inspiration.
And as you can see, it has. :-)
Werewolf Wednesday this week…
As of today’s posting, I don;t have a volunteer for Werewolf Wednesday.
