Alright folks… “technically”, there’s something wrong with today’s strip. If anyone can figure it out, make a post in the comment section and the “winner” will get the awesome and highly sought after official Grand Royal Order of the Werewolf League (G.R.O.W.L.) “AWWWOOOOOOOOOO” award. It’s kind of like the Marvel No-Prize only way less valuable or real.
Where’s that third book?
Well folks, I am happy to report that the third collection of Capes & Babes will be making its 2012 debut at Heroes Con in June. The third book is titled “THAT’S Why You Can’t Print Flick” and I am happy to report I’m not longer in the process of “working” on it. It’s done. It’s complete. And it has been sent to the printers. I am only going to have 20 copies at Heroes though. And right after the convention, I plan on starting a Kickstarter campaign in order to be able to help finance:
1) Going to more conventions
2) Being able to print more copies of all three Capes & Babes books
3) Offer some really cool incentives only possible with a Kickstarter campaign
In the mean time, I wanted to show you all the third cover and give you all some details about it as well.
The book is exactly 180 pages – that’s almost 20 pages more than the first two books.
It has a ten page “Roy Gallery” where a bunch of my friends graciously sent me in their version or interpretation of Roy. And they all look fantastic!
You get an origin of where the title of my books come from.
There’s a small dedication to my father-in-law who was the inspiration for Bob the Barber.
I show you all how I draw Al the Alien (just in time for “Prometheus” too!).
A bunch of my convention commissions.
You also get an “Anatomy of a logo” – the detailed writings of how I designed the Capes & Babes logo.
There’s a foreword by Dawn Griffen and a Back Word by Rob Anderson.
After all of that, you get a couple pf pages filled with all of my promotional postcards I designed since starting Capes & Babes!
All for just $20!
Oh yeah… and here’s the cover too:
