653 – No Respect…
A short blog post for today’s strip… this wasn’t originally going to be in color but I couldn’t resist coloring the Creature’s eyes yellow and they looked so much better once his body shared in the coloring process.
As for Aquaman, I wasn’t sure exactly how to depict him as I haven’t seen any pics of him since DC’s 52 hit the stands. I don;t know what his current costume looks like so I decided to draw a bit of an ALL the Aquaman’s I am familiar with… mostly it’s his classic costume but his hair is inspired from The Superfriends cartoon show, he has his beard – which I always liked on him – and he has his spear for his hand.
I was never a big fan of his spear hand but I just thought it would be funny if he was raising THAT instead of his regular, green gloved hand.
