SSSHHHHH! Don’t tell Travis Surber or his wife, Jennifer, that they’re starring today’s Capes & Babes. Let’s make it a surprise, shall we? Hmmmm… 
In all seriousness though, Travis and Jennifer hail from that little understood and mysterious land called Martinsville, Virginia… yes, the same one with the NASCAR track. I know because I’ve been there before. I used to go to school at Radford University – which turns out to be a very short drive away when you’re going WAY past the speed limit (long story of youthful indiscretion).
I still haven’t had a chance to write up my Intervention Con recap although Matt Stout and I talked about it extensively during last night’s Lightbox Podcast recording. I’ll probably write it over the weekend as there just is too much stuff to say and I really need to self-edit it or this recap might end up being 7 pages long.
In the mean time, I want to tell you about some things that I’m deciding to do with Capes & Babes and this site…
1) I have decided to call the Capes & Babes “tribe” the Wolf Pack. Little John suggested the title first and the more I kept thinking about it, the more I kept liking it. More specific details to come but in the mean time…
2) I set up a Capes & Babes Facebook Fan Page. You can find it here: http://www.facebook.com/CnB.wolfpack
3) People are slowly beginning to send or e-mail me all sorts of crazy werewolf links. So, with that in mind, what I want to start doing is something similar to what Brad Guigar does with his Villain Top Ten list… I want to start making Wednesday the OFFICIAL Werewolf Wednesday here at Capes & Babes. My idea is that you send me in your craziest werewolf stories, links, videos, articles or whatever and we’ll work together to make this “Werewolf Wednesday” get off the ground. Over the weekend, I’m going to write out my favorite Top Ten werewolves in film or TV.
4) I reestablished a Paypal Donate button on my right side bar (see it up at the top?). But want I REALLY want to do is to start a wallpaper donation where everyone who donates something to Capes & babes will get a free digital wallpaper of one of my wacky takes on some crazy super hero. I guess we can call this “Stupor Hero of the Month 2.0″.
5) I need to start working on the second book soon and will be starting a pre-sale for it. This is a ways away as I still need to design the cover. All I really have at this point is the title… “You STILL Can’t Print Flick”. Yeah, I know. Original, huh? More news will come as this developes.
