This is going to be a very short blog post for tonight. Just a few short hours ago, I finished catching a three hour baseball game in 90+ degree heat – so I’m beginning to feel the effects of that. If I feel more energized tomorrow, I’ll post an updated blog post. In the mean time, please enjoy today’s strip.
Thanks!

UPDATED BLOG POST
Hey everybody, it’s Monday morning and I’m feeling a lot better (more energized) than I was last night. Not a bad recovery for a 43 year old dude that hasn’t caught a baseball game in over three years – if I do say so myself.
Okay, so this morning, as I was driving in to work, I heard a CARS song on the radio. A funny thing happens whenever I hear THE CARS on the radio… I start thinking about my high school years and how much I would have loved seeing them in concert during their prime years (and when all of the band members were still alive). When I was in high school, that’s when they recorded all of their big hits… “My best friend’s girl friend”, “You Might Think”, “Magic”, “Drive” and so many others…
Anyway, I never went to any concerts when I was in high school. My first concert was a Stevie Nicks concert when I was 19 years old. I had a chance to see Huey Lewis & The News two years earlier but I sold that ticket so I could go to a baseball camp in Florida for a week. I never regretted that. And, to be honest, I’ve seen some amazing concerts over the years… KISS (four times – twice with all of the original members), Aerosmith (with KISS), Def Leppard, The Outfield & Starship at Kings Dominion… Stevie Nicks (twice – but the first time was still the best. probably because it was my first concert)… I saw U2 at RFK Stadium here in Washington, DC. But despite all of those great concerts and memories, whenever certain songs come on the radio now, I always think “Man, I would have LOVED to have seen THEM in concert as a kid…”.
For example, I’m a HUGE Steve Perry & Journey fan. I would have LOVED to have seen them during their Escape Tour. Would have loved to have seen REO Speedwagon. STYXX would have been great too. And, of course, the previously mentioned THE CARS…
So, what are some concerts you regret not being able to go to when YOU were younger?
