Hope you guys don’t mind this Forth of July filler for today. As Roy says in today’s cartoon, the Heroes Con story arc will continue on Wednesday.

As some of you know, in addition to cranking out my Capes & Babes strip, plus my weekly “CMX Suite” strip for Community MX, I have been working on a couple of other freelance projects. That’s always a good thing but I really needed to take a small break and enjoy the July Fourth three day weekend – mainly just so I could re-charge my batteries and come back full of energy. But like almost all holidays, the work doesn’t decrease when the holiday is over. It almost always increases. And that will be the case for me tomorrow when I return to work.

In the meantime, I wanted to let you guys know that I have added one more convention appearance to my 2010 schedule for this year. I just sent in my Artist Alley table fee for the NC Comicon in Durham, North Carolina for November 13th and 14th. I know that’s still a couple of months away but wanted to let you all know way in advance. I have also updated my Appearances side bar as well.

And lastly, for the rest of the conventions for this year, on Friday, my new Convention banner arrived. If you missed my Twitter and Facebook updates, here’s what my new banner looks like (click the image for a larger version):
