Movie Line…

UPDATED POST:

Thanks everyone for having patience as I finished today’s comic strip before 12 midnight. As many of you have heard, the east coast of the US has been blanketed with 30+ inches of snow. As such, it’s been a crazy weekend trying to get shoveled out of my driveway so we have at least one car to either get to work or get more groceries.

Added to that, I had a couple of freelance projects come my way - all due within the week - so the only way to get them done was by working on them while all the snow came down. Unfortunately, when you don’t have the mythical thing called a buffer, you end up having to try and rush to get the strip done and posted before midnight. That’s been the case with this strip.

But now that all of my freelance responsibilities are complete, I can hopefully get back on track with the strip again. That is, if the 12 - 16″ inches of ADDITIONAL snow they are calling for tomorrow or Wednesday doesn’t completely know all of our power - or internet connection - out.

Here’s to my crossed fingers!

My original post is below:
But due to all the crazy snow we had this weekend - and a couple of paying freelance projects, I had to put the strip off for this weekend - just not enough time in the day, you know?

Today’s strip will be posted tomorrow (Tuesday) instead.

Sorry for the inconvenience, everybody.

Snow? What is this snow you are talking about? OOOOHHHH! You mean the 30+ inches of white stuff outside that I don’t even want to think about?

You have my sympathy - this batch of snow is HEAVY!

    Worth the wait.
gone are the days of the ticket line…
    Very cool

Kev, I agree about online ticket purchasing. That’s so cool. I’ve often said though, that the next improvement would be online ticket AND refreshment purchasing… it would work like this:
You purchase your tickets online and then opt-in to also buy your refreshments. Then, the theater would have a SPECIAL concession desk just for online purchases. You just go up to that desk, show them your ticket and then they give you your popcorn, soda or candy without waiting in line.

    :-)

But I do kinda miss the nostalgic part of camping out for tickets. One of my best memories was sitting in a four and a half hour line w/ my HS buddies to see Return of the Jedi.

    :-) :-)
