The king is back…
Man, I can’t tell you how long it took to get that first panel “just right”. Hopefully, it looks just like Brad’s flunky (or would that be “henchman”?) is tearing the first panel right off the web page - that’s what I was going for (even included a bit of HTML code on the backside of the panel (although it might be hard to see).
But speaking of Brad, since I had a pun as the punchline in Wednesday’s strip, I thought it was only appropriate if the king of all web comic puns would be very protective of his “title” - hence, his appearance. And since he’s “the king”, it made even more sense to dress him in the proper attire - crown included.
Hope you don’t mind, Brad.

Joe, that’s actually a pretty cool idea to add to the book. As I’m beginning to layout the first Capes & Babes collection, I’m thinking about adding extra little illustrations that will coincide with some of the strips.
Your idea of having Roy kiss Brad’s pinky ring would be an excellent little illustration to put under this strip. Thanks for the idea!
