You know it’s gonna happen…
I haven’t bought the new Two Disc DVD of Ironman yet because you know this is gonna happen because it seems to happen every year. A couple months after you plunk down twenty or so dollars for the new DVD release of the latest superhero blockbuster movie, a few months later, they’re releasing a “special edition” - with more features, more deleted scenes, more “making of” features, more director and actor commentaries and, basically, a whole better release then a few months earlier.
So no… I’m waiting a few months (at least until Christmas, anyway) before I shell out money for the Ironman DVD.
Of course, the day after I decide to buy it, they’ll announce a new DVD set they’re releasing.
You know it’s gonna happen…

I still thing that the myriad of LOtRs releases scores the highest on the annoy-the-heck-out-of-me meter, but I can’t help thinking this is right on target.

Qoheleth - You and I are in agreement about the LOtRs multiple “super” DVD sets. And yet, there my wife and were… buying each new LOtR DVD edition that came out.
But to my credit, I think we decided we weren’t going to buy any more once we bought the “ultimate, absolute, super, exclusive, extra director’s edition”.
