Knight Salesman…
Ugh. This one is going to be a short post. It must officially be fall today as I have been suffering through my regular seasonal allergy sinus blast. This happens almost at the point of every seasonal change… my sinuses hit me like a ton of bricks.
Flu? No, I very rarely ever get the flu. What I do get is very severe sinus infections. So, I’m posting this strip - the end of “Behind the Newsprint” - and heading to bed for some much needed sleep.
Hope you all have enjoyed the “Behind the Newsprint” arc as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
Also, don’t forget about the Shout Out Box right over there on the right of your monitor.

You’re gonna get tired of seeing my name in the comments box
I get nasty migraines with sinus headaches every time the pressure drops (sudden tempreture changes). My recipe is two liquid advil + two sinutab and a hot cloth across my eyes. On the reall bad days I take it with two Gravol. (Dimenhydrinate / Dramamine)
The other treatment choice is Tequilla. I don’t know it solves the symptoms or not, because I can’t rightly recall having them.. *hic*

Yo Chris. Typo in the first panel my friend. “Addition” should be “addiction” I suspect….

Kim C: Ooop. Yeah, you’re right. That’s supposed to be “addiction”. Just proves why you should never try and type while fighting a major sinus cold.
Gonna fix that right now.
Shadowydreamer: I can’t get sick of anyone who would take the time to add a comment to my site. The whole comment thing is one of the main reasons I decided to use Wordpress/Comicpress instead of just doing the whole site via traditional html.
But for the record, I am fortunate where I have never experienced symptoms like yours. I just get real, real tired and want to sleep all day. I’m also fortunate that these sinus attacks usually only last 24 hours. And then I feel much, much better… just as it is today. Feeling much better now.

I must say, I really enjoyed the whole “Behind the Newsprint” concept, and using ROM Space Knight, Brilliant.
I know what you mean about the sinus troubles every season change, same here but not as severe, they just last longer, sinuses stuffed to the rafters for a couple weeks and it feels like I’m hacking up a long.

Hey tmechanic,
Glad you have been enjoying this “Behind the Newsprint” story arc. It was a lot of fun coming up with interesting ways to screw around with ROM’s “missing years” and coming up with creative ways to bring in other characters people haven’t anything about for years!

The trick isn’t to get me to comment.. it’s to get me to stop commenting. And “Shady” is fine. Even I use cookies so I don’t have to type out that whole rigomarole every time
I dream of switching T&B over to comicpress, but have yet to find the idiot’s guide

Hey Shadowy,
Sorry about that.
It’s like I always say… it’s not that I can’t spell - it’s that I can’t TYPE!
Yeah… Wordpress and ComicPress has a pretty steep learning curve if you’re not well versed in CSS and PhP. I found I was getting by on the CSS part but the PhP stuff still confuses (and frustrates) me a great deal.
There are a lot of benefits to the system though… comments and Wordpress plug-ins like Askimet and Blog stats just to name a few.
