Hopefully, there’s a bunch of people out there that still remember Pete Townsend smashing his guitar during a Who concert. If not, well then you could easily substitute Paul Stanley (from KISS) or any other rock ‘n’ roll act that did the same thing.

For me, the definitive practice was started by Pete - or, at least made famous by it - so hence that’s why The Who are mentioned in the last panel.

And for any Guitar Hero players out there that might say “yeah but they don’t even have any ‘The Who’ songs in Guitar Hero…”, well, sorry. I don’t own a copy of Guitar Hero so I don’t actually know what songs may or may not be in either version.

But if The Who are missing from Guitar Hero, well, that’s really a shame…
